Main uses of H-HPC
1. Use as binders: in the pharmaceutical field, as a binder for tablets, granules and fine grains or as the pase of ointments. It is used in an amount of 1% to 5% by weight of the medicine.
2. as film-coating agents; HPC has an excellent film-forming property. The film obtained in tough and flexible and has a noticeably good compatility with plasticizers, the film-forming property coating agents, maybe further impoved by using together with other coating agents.
3. HPC is used as gelation agents for water and alcohols.
